Cherokee ELEC and Bosch 20A ICON Wiper Blade - 20" (Pack of 1)
Cherokee ELEC and Bosch 20A ICON Wiper Blade - 20" (Pack of 1)
I have been so happy with these Bosh ICON wiper blades. I didn't realize
how bad my prior wiper blades were until I replaced them with these.
During rain, the window is cleared absolutely flawlessly... no streaks,
no un-wiped areas at the furthest edge of the blades. Just perfect.
In
my winter weather of Upstate New York, these wipers excel because of
the frameless design. Ice and snow simply does not build up on these
like it would on conventional metal or plastic framed wipers.

Derale 16739 180 Degree Farenheit Single Stage Electric Fan Controller Works as it should. Followed supplied directions, comes with a diagram
that is very helpful. Will update in the future to check in, but I used
it to add an electrical fan to my crown vic with mechanical fan. Dual
electric Fan, controller switches on main fan at 180 degrees perfectly,
other fan wired to old auxiliary fan wiring. I used an aluminum
radiator hose splice for the temp sensor, works great.

Installed electric fan in place of clutch fan, DERALE therostat, runs all the time???
So I put in my new electric fan the other day, to replace bad fan clutch, its the one from ebay with the derale set temp thermostat and relay. Same one michaele30 used in his write up here . A word of advice if anyone else gets this fan, DO NOT USE THE PLASTIC BRACKETS IT COMES WITH, they break SOOO easily, first one broke on one end so I headed back to jerrys to get some more L brackets, had one side done then the other side broke...
So I ended up screwing in my own METAL L brackets right into the fan and bolting onto those into the fan shroud... Which I believe michaele30 did anyway, shoulda just done that in the first place.
Anyway took me all day, half the time going back and fourth to jerrys, so got it all mounted, installed, wired, turn the key on and it turns on immediately? I followed the instructions as best I could, the one thing that was not so clear was the thermostat has 2 wires from it, do I put both those wires to the yellow wire from the relay and then add a +12v ignition source onto that? Or one to the yellow wire with the +12v ignition and other to ground or what?
I used the aux fan relay box with the exact wires that michaele30 used, apparently it is the same for the 530.
All I know is the thermostats not working and the fan comes on all the time when the key is all the way. Right now I only have one of the thermostats wires hooked up to the yellow wire then to the +12v.
Please help?
On the bright side, I don't have to run my heat anymore to keep the car cool, it stays 1 needle widths on the cool side, and I might have noticed a SMALL increase in jump from a stop, might just be placebo though...
Oh I think I might have just realized what I did wrong. one wire of the thermostat goes to the yellow relay wire, the OTHER wire of the thermostat goes to the 12v ignition wire, like a switch. I shoulda looked at the schematic rather than the picture drawing and instructions. Schematics make more sense to me than written instructions and pictures :S
